Thanks for the reply! Yea I'll have to check all of those, I'm going later to buy some resistors for my LED headlights I put in a while ago, none of these problems started happening till I made the swap, so hopefully that helps too!

Did you figure out what the problem was exactly? I have a Mark 1V 2005 jetta tdi that has all the exact same electrical problems yours had, windows almost stalling the car, the resets, everything. I didn't notice these problems happening until after I had swapped out my factory headlight bulbs...

So maybe it's worth it to start upgrading a 360km engine?
