I have a 2006 Reflex Silver BEW 5-speed Golf with only 160k miles that I am considering selling. It has served me very well for about 5 years now. I'm simply looking to upgrade to something modern and I don't have garage space to keep this as a second car. It is...

38-42mpg driving spirited. Interior is pretty good, no rips in the seats. The Headliner was trash and I replaced it myself but not perfectly, but it doesn't sag and looks OK. The furthest rear strip of Headliner is sagging now but some glue could fix that quick. It could use a deep...
Seeing if there is any interest in my Golf. I'm in a position to get something more modern for a DD and if there is someone to whom this vehicle speaks to, I'd rather they enjoy it than me hang on to it. Definitely wouldn't trade it in.

Wow, here I was somewhat disappointed in my 38mpg in my 2006 Golf manual with probably 50% increase in hp upgrades. I always chalked it up to my enjoying those upgrades so not getting 45mpg like my 98 Jetta. Good to know I'm doing pretty well for a non-stock BEW!
Has anyone installed a Kerma OMI on a BEW with VNT17 lately? Just took the parts out of the box and I'm not really sure what to do with the CCV Heating element connection. Also, there's a long black rubber hose I'm not 100% sure about.
I just went for a drive and experimented a bit. Last night I noticed the brakes were working much better, perhaps due to break in or maybe the piston got freed up. I was noticing, however, that they seemed to be better some times than others. Well tonight I found that braking without the clutch...
