    Where can I get oil?

Without seeing TBN holding strong at a 20k OCI, I would never trust that claim. The additive package has a hair more ZDDP, a decent chunk more calcium, but very little Boron. In comparison the ESP has lower calcium (detergent) but is making up for that with boron, and the x1 ESP has higher TBN...

idparts carries m1 esp in 5w30. The rest sounds like conjecture....but thank you for clarifying.

Would you mind clarifying, specifically, which metrics you used to determine superiority?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32833481976.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1e5c4c4dr0jzWn These are the same lights sold by lasfit for 100 bucks. I got em and they are perfect. Will need to aim headlamps down after you install. They also take some effort to get to lock into place where they...

Extreme cold cause sludge in fuel filter?

Back to OP though, this certainly does look like bio waste on the filter. Bio-Kleen describes: "The first indication of microbial contamination is mucous-like accumulations on fuel-filters and increased requirements for fuel-filter replacement" I would be looking at doing a shock treatment of...

Extreme cold cause sludge in fuel filter?

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0016236116310729 Seems Biomass is actually greater with higher sulfur but biodiversity is greater with low sulfer.

Extreme cold cause sludge in fuel filter?

You're right, my mistake...I was either told wrong or remembered wrong. By Google I was referencing the year ULSD started being mandated and its increased growth potential.

Extreme cold cause sludge in fuel filter?

Is that still accurate with today's Ultra Low Sulfur fuel? Per google, that started happening after 2006. As I understood it, the newer fuel has more growth potential for fungus and bacteria...I'd question the validity of that prior schedule when newer TDI's like mine are calling for filter...

RNS510 Firmware & Maps Info Thread

I did find a menu option to reset settings...did that...is there another factory reset option I missed? My secret hope is new models are being produced with updated hardware that might address this lag. There have even been a couple times I've tried turning volume up and it lags and then...

RNS510 Firmware & Maps Info Thread

Has anyone had success with a warranty replacement and getting a new manufactured unit with newer hardware and firmware? I'm getting super frustrated with the volume and touch lag even after the firmware update.

    Underboost/sludge in intercooler

I would say that a sludged up intercooler is a symptom of a problem and cleaning it doesn't resolve any problems. I would seek out a new dealer.

    Underboost/sludge in intercooler

Sludge doesn't reduce pressure...I'd say the sludge AND the underboost are both symptoms of the same problem...a failing turbo.

Who makes Group 4 507 Spec oils, 0W-30 or 5w-30 oil?

VWoA had the 5w30 noted as an approved oil back in Jan 2018 as provided to a customer. source Should note that Pennzoil Plat Euro L also showed as approved at that time..so must be a recent reformulation that excluded it from approval vs. the LX.

Who makes Group 4 507 Spec oils, 0W-30 or 5w-30 oil?

Honestly I'm not sure how much faith I'd put into what's listed on your site... You have Pennzoil Platinum Euro L listed in the 507 oil category and it is not, according to Pennzoil's TDS. The Platinum Euro LX is....the L is not.
