Yes but he doesn't know how many miles he got on that tank. For accuracy, he's better off deleting it and entering the next one correctly.

You're better off just deleting it and start tracking your mileage next time you fill up...that's what you're supposed to do anyways....it still shows you as having 0mpg

It will but it will figure in your first tank of 0.0 so in other words say you average 40mpg this tank...when you put in the numbers it will only show as 21.5 mpg 0+40=40...40/2=21.5 What you should have done is either, A.) reported the mileage you got from the dealer's fuel when you filled...
