I was wondering why it was such a problem in the US. I checked my 2000 TDI and there was feck all wrong with the EGR. I was quite surprised.

Oddly, the fact he has so much done it to makes me think he's treated it well and done the research into his mods, not like most map and bangs you see on our roads.

I had a bash at the easy fix. Cut the wires and re did them with those connectors, reset the airbag module and all is well :) Thanks everyone!
