Nobody? Does everybody here who's done the "delete" completely remove the EGR valve on the 3.0 TDI?

So I did search a bit, and I read a a lot about "blockoff plate" but those are all in reference to the 4-cyl TDI's. If I did a Malone tune that included EGR delete on my Cayenne Diesel - would I have to go through the 6+ hours of work to pull the EGR valve and put some plate on? Or does the...

I didn't mention anything about deletes to the local dealer. That thought just came to me a few minutes ago as I was perusing the Malone website.

Another question - hopefully somebody can answer. The optional "Remove DPF, Adblue, EGR, and/or Intake Swirl Flap" - do those parts actually have to be **removed** or can it just be disabled via the software? I'd imagine you could just NOT spray the AdBlue, and just keep the EGR valve shut...

How many miles did you put on it? Mine felt a little funny when I first picked it up. Per my dealer (and consensus in the Rennlist thread) is it takes a solid 500 miles before things clear up.

The first few reports of folks complaining of noise, low power, etc. I honestly took as essentially drama queens or folks that are just naturally unhappy. But I've seen enough between here and on Rennlist (Cayenne diesels) to make me think that perhaps there are issues with dealers not doing it...

Interesting.... I did not think the Bosch money was tied to a fix for Gen II. I have a Cayenne... got $750 today, no previous owners. Concerning is the language on the check itself which makes it sound like, once I sign that check, I'm absolving Bosch of any further obligation.
