I made the mistake of putting the pistons in backwards, and didn't realize it till after I put the head on and Torque everything down...
The question is, is it possible to spin the piston in the block without lifting the head?
The Driver Door being open will prevent the door locks from locking, and all the other symptoms point towards the door latch sensor.
I realize you have probably already figured this out, but somebody in the future might get some help from this.
I was having the same issues above 2600 RPM, power would come and go. I ended up eliminating the Fuel system and a buddy had some MAF cleaner, so it thought I would give it a try. That made the biggest difference in the world, from day one it never had very much power in the upper RPM range...
When the clutch went on my car part of the clutch disk broke off and wedged between the clutch disk and the pressure plate not allowing the clutch to engage all the way. Eventually more broke off and the clutch would not release at all.
I first did the PP520 Nozzles and that was great. Recently I got a Malone Stage 3 which I really like except the fact that it now has a 120 mph limiter in it.
Im not positive but with the way it came apart it seems like they would be the same. I have a TDI and thought about keeping just incase something stupid happens. But it looks like it will fit. Only missing the Pass fender and Bumper Cover.
This is not something I would do regularly, but at the time I had no other option and having the experience of driving OTR in a Big Truck I managed to successfully make the trip.
Today's G2G was a good time. I was able to change out an oil pan that was in need of replacement. The guys there were great and very helpful. In the future if there is anything that I can not do myself I will definitely have them work on it.
