    200,000 mile club... roll call!

    225,000 on my 2003 golf tdi. Going to need the timing belt changed at 230,000. The 01m is still holding up, but I have a manual on standby just in case. I love how these cars just keep going and going, probably never see that again with future cars now that vw diesels are done in the US.

    Wow, I didn't realize the engine could move enough to hit that pipe. Good to know though, one more thing to check on. The upgrade is looking good !

    Thanks for the update, I'm glad it's still going good on the upgrade. That GSW sound like a lot of fun too! I'm going to be starting on updating my 2003 golf tdi this fall. I have the 6-speed and the conversion kit ready to go, but I want to do the shift fork fix before I put it in the car...

    I got an update from him today via email. I think he is just very busy gathering our parts and trying to keep up with his business, but I agree with the others here that believe it is well worth it for the savings you get working with Frans.

    Just passed 205,000 on my 2004 Golf TDI. 01m shifting softly into 3rd and will probably need the conversion to manual soon.

    Great choice, those 2003 Golf TDI's are the best ! (that's what I have too) Except mine's an automatic that I am ordering a six speed for this weekend... I'm new here too, welcome.
