I bought my TDI Lux for $49,999 from the $53.5 MSRP. It can be done and you'd get all the nice toys.
My only complaint about my Treggy, and its been perfect and I now have 17300 miles on it is the transmission. It is perfect at speed but can be harsh and clunky in stop and go traffic which I...
The new Touareg is great looking from every angle while the Q7 is fugly from every angle and is considerably more expensive than the Treg. After issues with Audi after two A6 purchases I vowed never to buy another Audi product as well :)
Come down to the States and buy one, especially with the stong Can Dollar. There is certainly no shortage of them here in MA. My dealer sold the silver on black TDI Lux I wanted and he found me another one at the Port and had it at the dealer in 4 days.
Good luck with your Touareg hunting ;)
Hey Pete,
Thanks for the welcome back. Yes, I was asking Dan when we should have another one. Quickly before the weather gets too cold.
How has your Wagen been treating you?
Well, to be honest the sales side was great for me but as it turns out their service department is half asleep. I will certainly NOT be servicing my Touareg there. After getting home from delivery with a ride that felt a little bumpy I checked the tire pressure to find 52PSI all around...
Absolutely, it is at Rojo gas station in Norwood in Rt1, just around the corner from Mercedes-Benz of Westwood. They have a seperate Diesel fuel island with 4 pumps. 2 for cars/trucks and 2 for Semi's.
Their diesel pumps are always busy so one knows there is high turnover of fuel. Personally...
Why not? The price difference between say mid-grade and diesel is only about 20cents and one gets 30 - 40% better mileage out of that gallon. It is still cheaper. In Toronto (my only point of reference) diesel might be cheaper than gas but its still around a 80cents more than a gallon of diesel...
I filled up my Touareg on Sat morning and was pleasantly surprised to see it at $3.68/gallon which put it right between mid-grade and premium gas. I was also pleasantly surprised to see two golf TDI's filling up and behind me a Jetta TDI. More than I've ever seen at once filling up. The older...
Another here, I've serviced both my R32 and TDI Wagen at Colonial in Westborough and had great service experiences there. I'll be taking my new Touareg TDI there for service even though I didn't buy it there.
I picked up my Touareg yesterday and really enjoyed the 18 miles ride home, all highway. I'm loving it so far. My two greyhounds spent ten minutes smelling everything in the back where they hang out as they could tell it was a new/different car.
I snapped some pics this morning:
Thanks, really appreciate the info, glad to hear you're having no issues, other than not wanting to drive your other vehicles ;)
Yes, the price was a little steep but I did get an awesome deal. The MSRP was $53725 and I got it for $4999. I wanted silver and this dealer had one (they also had...
Yup, if that's the case then I don't mind paying for the extra oil change at 5K. 80% of my driving is highway. I drove 90 miles round trip to work 4 days per week so 5K will not take too long, about 4 months or so.
Thanks for the info.
Hi All,
I wanted to know if those owning 2011 & 2012 Touareg TDI's have read or know of the use of Power Service (or other lubricants) with these new vehicles?
I used to have a 2010 TDI Wagen and used Power Service with every other fill up. Are these Touaregs different and can use this or...
