    Boost gauge install questions

I would really like it if it was this easy. But as far as I know the new turbochargers do not have blowoff valves. They use guide vanes to control the air to the exhaust side of the turbo vanes. When there is too much boost, the guide vanes push air away from the turbo vanes and as a result the...

    Sun/rain window visors

I got mine right from the dealer. Install was easy, I had the same issues with the pinch protection going off on the driver side, but subsided after an annoying month.

    Boost gauge install questions

I have the 2011 comfort line jetta, it does not have the in dash computer and I was getting sick of the lack of gauges and user monitoring devices. I would like to know what's going on under the good to make sure I can correct problems before they become big problems. I searched the Internet...

    2011 Jetta TDI Manual Questions

I have the manual TDI and I love it. My old car was a 92 BMW 325 with an auto, the transmission broke, so me and my buddies changed it over to a manual. I never drove a manual before I did the change-over but did it for the fun factor and more control of the car, and it was awesome! there was...

    Aftermarket stereo head unit, help!

I couldn't give you a definite answers because of the wide range of aftermarket head units. A lot more head units are supporting steering wheel control as they are coming to be quite standard in new cars, but I'd read up on your specific model before you get it to ensure it in fact supported...

To get nav you'd...

    Aftermarket stereo head unit, help!

Follow up here, Got the deck put in today at visions electronics. They did a good job, it turns out the MK5 jetta dash kit did work (double DIN) and everything went well. They did need to use the CAN-BUS module which was a nice 200$ addition to the job but all and all it only costed me 200$ more...

    Aftermarket stereo head unit, help!

Just got the car on friday, loving it so far. Though the car has just the basic stereo because I didn't feel like forking out $1300 for a glorified cd/ipod player. I got a pioneer AVIC-Z120BT (3D nav, bluetooth (phone and bluetooth music), ipod hook-up, HD radio, backup camera, aux input, cd...

I am eagerly awaiting my jetta comfortline to come in, the dealership didn't have any in Alberta black on black manual with no options. (I'm just going to put in an aftermarket deck with nav, bluetooth, and a back-up camera. wayyy better deal) I have never owned a TDI nor any diesel for that...
