I had my 10k done for free at another dealer than the one I purchased it from. Like everyone has said, what they are telling you is complete BS, never believe a dealer. Subaru tried to tell my GF her warranty would be voided if she did any maintenance at another dealership. I went back with...
I have this feature on my Grand Cherokee. I've been testing MPG with it for a couple weeks and it seems I get about 1 more MPG with autostart/stop enabled. Not really worth it, and it's something I will probably start disabling soon. It just comes on too many times for me, and I prefer...
I think that price is high for an S with 30k miles. I could have purchased one brand new for not much more back when I got my GSW SE in 2015. I guess it's all relative now to demand, but I sure wouldn't pay 18k for it.
Even though it's a rather roomy little wagon, it's still a compact car in the rear seat area. My Chicco seat is extremely easy to setup and move if need be, but it's basically like you said pretty much until it's front facing. My GF doesn't mind not being all the way back so I only have to move...
I have a Chicco and really like it. I am 6'4". There is no way I could sit in front my son with his seat facing rearward. I take him to the sitter every day and put the seat behind the passenger seat. Whenever I go out with a friend over 5'10" I pull the seat out. Once he sits forward it...
I bought a silverado with 7,500 miles as a demo. Sales manager used it has his personal vehicle for a few months. I had no problems with it in the 4 years 80K+ I owned it. I would buy a demo without giving it a second thought if it was a good deal.
I drove one before I decided to hold on to my 2015 GSW SE for a bit.
I really liked it. You sit up a bit more, the 1.8T motor was decent, it handled well and has good utility. It's like my car inside, but with a better infotainment system.
The problem for me was after the test drive...
The only way not getting the fix makes sense is if you are doing the buyback.
Phase one is just an ECU change. If you don't like it get it tuned with the 4-5K VW gives you. A good tune will only cost 1/10th of that.
Phase two hasn't even started yet so no sense in speculating on that one...
I've driven 70 miles after my range said "0" miles. I routinely go 30-40 miles after it says 0. I have cut it close, putting 13.1 gals of fuel in at fill up when I went 70 miles over. I have not cut it that close since, and most of my fill ups are 12-12.6 gallons.
I would say that 1.9...
I installed a 2" ecohitch on my 2015 GSW last weekend for the same reason. I am using a thule T2 pro on mine. The locking mechanism on the rack keeps it from moving. It's very stable on mine with zero need for any straps. It did sway a bit before I screwed down the lock, but was rock solid...
I gave some thought to doing the buyback instead and upgrading from GSW SE to an SEL, but I am just going to fix what I have. I have 40k trouble free miles and I really don't want to risk getting a car that will have problems others have experienced with electronics, sunroof leaks, etc... I'm...
I hope that's $400mo for 24 months, if not that's a rip off. $3,500 down, $19,200 in lease payments and $13,000 buyout for a car that was 30k new two years ago? I am not seeing an $8,500 discount either way.
I paid 27k for a brand new 2015 GSW SE with lighting package.
I guess anything is possible, but I thought VW dealers were not allowed to sell any TDIs involved in this? I thought it was very odd to see a 2015 TDI with a 30 day VW dealer tag.
I really like my 15 GSW TDI. I was going to do the buyback because the offer was almost 3k more than I paid, but after months of looking for a replacement I called VW this weekend and had my claim reset so I could opt to keep it and get the fix. The uncertainty of a fix was why I went the...
I got Trico blades from Wal-Mart, but were on sale. I believe regularly they are 15-17 a piece for the two front ones. I did not replace the rear yet, it was still ok.
I am just waiting in general. I was all fired up to turn mine in ASAP and get 3k more than I paid, but finding a suitable replacement isn't working very well and the hit I will take for mileage will be no more 1k. The cars and trucks I like are either a lot more expensive or don't get anywhere...
