You know the dealer performed all the diagnostics on mine, they started with the control buttons then the module and then they finally said it was the mat (that is in the seat) that needed to be replaced. Maybe there is a ohm spec that the module needs to read at. You could ask the dealer...
Hi all,
I'm trying to hardwire a radar detector to my 2011 Jetta I got. I got the negative wire hooked up the chassis and now i'm trying to tap the 12v Cigarette lighter which should be fuse 30. This would be ignition on only. It makes sense on paper until you try it out. I get a low...
I have the same problem with mine. The dealer first changed the control panel where the buttons are, and that didn't help. They said they needed to replace the heating element that is in the seat its self as it not drawing enough amps/volts approx 400$ to do. Just waiting to get the $500...
The fix for "dieselgate" will be fairly simple. Its software based, it will be programed to run on full emissions all the time, and VW will extend the emissions warranty to 120-150k miles and 5-6 years. Wait and see, but my money is on the above terms.
A dealer that only deals in salvage vehicles is a red flag. Generally dealers have access to all vehicles at auctions, salvaged and clear titles. On the other hand i've bought a few vehicles that were salvaged due to theft (not recoverd in 2 weeks ) and those vehicles were great cars with no...
Seems to happen only under 60mph while holding it steady or using the cruise control.
I've attached another vid that shows it a bit more while using cruise control.

Hello,
Recently i've noticed my speedometer needle moving up/down while driving holding a steady speed moves about 1/8" up/down. It also happens, less noticeably while accelerating. See the 2 youtube vids for clarification. Even tried it with the cruise control on and seems like the needle...
I got busy and didn't update the fuelly account in a while. I have close to 17k on the car right now. Does anyone smell this when they are just cruising on the freeway or in town and the windows are up just the AC or fan on ?
Everytime my car does a regen and the fan/AC is on i can smell it in the car. Its noticeable to the point i have to turn off the fan and crack the window. I understand you can smell it when you're stopped and the windows are open.
We're all feeling the same thing... 2k rpm... the car just takes off... and depending how much gas you give it it will continue... however if you let off the gas in the middle... it will feel like like not enough fuel is making it through to the cylinders. And the best i can describe it is just...
I'd jump on board as long as they are doing what some korean car companies are doing.... free lifetime battery replacement... then again... they can just import the same technology they already have to the US. But the economics dont make sense i guess...
I too have noticed the rear windows fog up many times, generally happens when its raining outside. I've narrowed it down to two possibilities in my case, the water that i bring in on my shoes onto the mats and the residual heat off by the heated seats, after i shut off the car. I've checked far...
The dealer replaced both right/left mirror glass on mine ( i thought they were going to replace the black trim piece around the mirror but they didn't ) The whistling has been reduced considerably, but still whistles at highway speeds, and more during windy days.
