I believe I have collected Everything I need for the lift, I should be able to start on it mid next week wound up getting ball joints as well. Figured if im going to lift it and then spend the money on a 4 wheel alignment then i may as well do it once.
LKQ Aurora had a lot of Jettas I went to four junkyards and found the best selection there. Im still in the market for front and rear bumpers and a passenger side fender. I am going to see if there is a way to get new vehicle notifications. But next time I may just save myself the headache and...
Tore off the front body panels yesterday after work. Previous owner had or did a bad job repairing some rust, all bondo repair. Looks like new fenders are in my near future. Hooray for junkyards!

Anyone see and silver jettas or wagons with straight body panels in the yard recently? I have some rust damage on the fenders on my wagon from previous owners as well as bumper damage front and rear. Im thinking I may be able to get this Wednesday off and planning to go grab whatever I can find.

Went to the pick an pull found myself a headlight switch with fog lights and an ashtray insert. Those cars were all tore up! I have never been to a junkyard that was so destroyed.
I don't mind stirring, always thought it would be cool to learn to brew my own beer. Congrats on the find jhax, I have to get out to a local yard myself here pretty soon.
No ESP here so going the height isnt a problem.
According to metalnerd i have to use wagon specific shocks to get my deposit back
VW®OE replacement Jetta Wagon rear shocks are OK
Koni Special (Red)
Koni STR.T
Koni Sport (Yellow)
Boge/Sachs OEM rear shocks
But that doesnt mean that I wont go...

The only one Ive been able to find any at is in Commerce City and its B20. Which is great but its a 20 minute drive from where I am in Denver.
I am looking into lifting my 5 speed Jetta Wagon. I plan on taking care of the whole suspension since its really soft and I bottom out all over this city (Denver).
I plan to go with the metal nerd 2" lift
I have the diesel geek FMJ setup
I want to replace all my springs
I want to do ball joints...
