I would always rather have too much injector and tune accordingly that really pushing the injector windows too long.

They had my car 7 months. After the first failure they tried to buy the car back and I told them no way. Their offer was comical. My PARTS bill was 26k.

I was in the same boat. They did the chains for parts only price. Hope your dealer is more competant than mine as my motor locked up after they put it back in.

I put 18Z 6 piston calipers and 350mm rotors on mine. I think I used zimmerman rotors and some type of ceramic pads.

Part number of the bodies is 038130073BF. My understanding this is the better BEW body. Think I saw your car at Matt's the other day.

I had planned on keeping mine forever as it can't be replaced like oilhammer said. Now that it has a new engine I am for sure.

I was close to the point you were at 105k miles. But took it to dealer for oil leak which snowballed over 7 months resulting in a new longblock for me. So going to be waiting at least til my dieselgate and longblock waranty expire. Curious to hear others responses as have a few other 3Ls in...

Thanks for sharing! Did you do chains while you were in there? Dealer did this job to mine and did something very very wrong. Im sure yours turned out well.

Probobly not going to take my car past the STG2/3 at this point as I have other faster, heavily modified cars already. Ballanced PP783s in bodies. $1000 OBO Sold my turbo and manifold, only injectors left.

I would add a trailer brake controller. Hopefully the trailer has them.

I'm still around and have all 3 of my TDIs. Mostly drive my touareg now.

I just sent my Whitbread FX300 setup to SB for some RD. Hoping to get something decent back.

So what fixed it? Just the new clutch switch? Having the same issue. Ours is wired correctly to pin 43, and also has the TDtuning tune. Ironically neither of my 5spd swaps have had working crusise, but the 3 6spds did.
