    Check differential fluid 01M

I was a little confused on where to measure, I keep forgetting I’ve got a manual. I thought I’d put this picture here to help anyone out with this.

AC stopped working - clutch not engagin

I think the clutch was just worn out. I replaced it, drove to FL and back (6hr drive one way) with AC the whole time. No issues, been smooth sailing. Now that it’s fixed, it’s getting chilly outside now lol

AC stopped working - clutch not engagin

Yes. I had paint melted off, and clutch material fall off. I bought a $50 Amazon clutch, AC working again, I’ll update how long it lasts.

AC stopped working - clutch not engagin

What brands or distributors would you recommend I buy a clutch from? They’re not cheap so I’m trying to figure out what brand Sto stay away from. Making a 8hr drive in a week.

Glow plug issue fault code too soon after replacing

Here’s what I found. Plug was not corroded, GP’s were definitely corroded. Easiest way to insure you don’t damage the plugs while removing them for cleaning would be to fire up your car and let it run for 5 minutes. Afterwards I cracked them all loose while it was still warm and let it cool off...

Glow plug issue fault code too soon after replacing

Pretty sure my issue was corrosion on that plug back in the harness by the air box. Opening it up this evening and I’ll list pics for those still wondering where this plug is.

Noted. I’ve gotten a good amount of parts from this wrecked tdi golf. He had this fuel filter adapter that I’ll post in a few. It takes a Caterpillar 1R-0750 filter. Thinking about using that along with the original rabbit filter housing.

For the fun of it what would y’all run for trans? 6 or 5 speed? I was thinking about putting .681 5th in my wagon and would do the same to the rabbit if I went that route.

No the sidewall was peeling off showing metal in the tires. I’m out of town this weekend but I’ll get some better pics. Still haven’t searched for tire manufacturer date.

Might I add that there are SEARS brand tires on it, with slashed looking side walls. They’ve been holding air over 36 hours now :ROFLMAO:
