Q: Just tell me how to get my SKC!
A: If you're running Windows 10/11 and have a VDO cluster: Download kw1281test, unzip it to some folder on your computer, install the driver for your cable and note what COM port it's using in Device Manager, open up a command prompt, CD to the folder...

You may take note...
As title states, I possess a Genuine, "Like New", Ross-Tech VCDS Micro-CAN cable that's seen very little use.
Was bought in a pinch to service my '14 NMS TDI SEL, but found a HEX-CAN later that same day.

1 previous owner for 1 car with almost no use...looks...
I concur with burpod on Xman's varieties...
Has several different flavors for the ALH w/CNC'd billet wheels and 1yr warranty for less than most here stateside.
Check out his ALHVNT17 unit for just under 6 bills...Direct bolt-on that'll sustain up to 23lbs(1.6bar)/boost.
Also has a beefed up...
I actually have 2 KII-USB's...
Could be persuaded to part with 1...
I know for sure the Kerma bought 1 was never registered.
(So technically, You should be able to reg for free support.)
I'd have to double check other cable,
but don't remember ever registering that 1 either.
HMU VIA PM if...

Anybody have the torque spec for the 3 horizontal bolts that hold the rear trans mount to the case???
I really need to get this back together...Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance...
Horizontal Trans Bracket Bolts?
I've seen the new Spec for the vertical bolts(2x18mm) = 74ft lbs.
Can't seem to find the spec of the 3 horizontal bolts though...
I've seen 30 or 33ft lbs. and the How-to over at MTD says 37ft lbs + 1/4 turn:eek:,
but that sounds like a definite strip-out...
