Connect your hand vacuum pump to the vacuum reservoir with the car running.
How much vacuum is in the system? This will tell you whether you have a vacuum leak which would cause the N75 to overwork itself.
However, I've never heard of a vacuum leak causing over-boost before.

Sooo... with the way were are redesigning the metal in the kit, there will be very little welding. I am pretty sure that there will be few visible welds once everything is installed. Lots of precision bending of thicker steel on a very large press brake. Faster, more accurate, and cheaper...
