Opt-outs are being held to NDA's in regards to their cases. That would include any compensation received. Given that you haven't heard otherwise you would need to make your own assumption. The cases are public and the amount being pursued in each case is in the neighborhood of $300k.
Knowing...
Not all of the Opt-outs.
This is a subset of the larger group. Many have decided to pursue alternate legal means to sue VW. Most are being filed in VA where the VW NA HQ is located. Cases have been scheduled regularly for the last 60 days in local courts. Each one has been settled before the...
This will be the first episode of their new series called Dirty Money. It will be available to view starting this Friday, 1/26.
I expect this to release some previously not so public information about the whole debacle. It will also help shed light on why so many Opt-out's are holding strong to...
Just called and they are going to match all of my closed claims to existing payments and call me back by Friday. The agent also said she would be able to email me a list with the claim number and associated payment info. Fingers crossed...
Has anyone contacted Bosch and successfully been able to match a payment, check #, to a VW claim#?
I need to match these to reconcile Bosch payments received to individual TDI claims for accounting reasons.
First case didn't make it to trial. Settled out of court along with 25 other cases from the same attorney. Would love one of those clients to give up what that convincing number was.
Anybody willing to share an update from their attorney? My anonymity is shot so now I am more curious for the others that have opted out. I can share that jury trials are scheduled as early as next month in VA. VW is feeling the heat ;).
Any interest in a 2013 Q7 Premium with cold weather package? Black 60k miles. Has roof racks and foot rails if buyer wants them. Very clean and all maintenance completed at Audi Raleigh, NC.
Clean title and is eligible for 50% restitution. PM me if so.
Thanks. As I read this, if an owner delays their fix to the end of the fix period they will have an additional 48 month/48000 mile extended emissions warranty covering the engine, emissions equipment and the fuel system.
I see little reason to get the fix early as you are covered by the same...
I have went through the docs a couple of times and can't seem to find the details in regards to the warranty for post fix Gen 2 3.0 TDi's. Does anyone have that info handy?
The "bridge warranty" I did find, but am more concerned over the post fix detail. Thanks!
@ Fourplay, DanB, psd1 or anyone else that can shed some light here. I can't seem to find in the docs anything about the post fix warranty for the 3.0's. I have found the detail on the "bridge warranty", but am interested in the gen II post fix warranty.
