indeed, its in the pamphlet
of course.
it stands to reason that the speed the fix had to be developed in, the number of different configurations affected, and they were no doubt leaning on the side of it "it better pass 100% in all conditions" and putting emissions hardware through paces it...
good to hear you fixed it with a valve!
i was surprised how much of a difference this made on my swapped van (though to be fair the turbo sits a lot closer to the road and to a wheel in that setup) previously some really funky and irregular boost response, along with boost plausibility codes...
oil and filter would be good

youll need the little filler adapter to pump it back into the trans, but thats not too hard to find online elsewhere - come to think of it im not...
WA doesnt do inspections anymore. im not sure how that works when youre in the pdx-metro as vancouver did have inspections at one point but not every county down there. so it depends on what "vancouver area" means.
i think youre on your own here - you can buy the tunes online but i imagine youll...
unfortunately youre incorrect, theyre completely different blocks.
if you want to use the "bolt in" factory vanagon diesel parts (50deg oil pan, motor mounts, etc) you need to use one of the pre-ALH 4 cylinders.

awesome!
definitely keep us posted on how that all goes... sounds like youre keeping it emissions intact (exhaust hardware wise) for now?
is there an a6 specific downpipe setup from darkside or is it some sort of q5 adapted thing?

not interested in shipping the dash, but most everything else should fit in a box.
curious how you get on with the delete and tune - ive been casually eyeing the later a6 tdis as a compelling next car. especially with values apparently quite low post-diesel gate it seems like a lot of car, and a lot of mpg, for the money
that was one of the things i forgot to check before pulling the front end harness/power

im taking off through the weekend but ill be back to tearing this thing down early next week.
