I have used T6 in both of my 06's with little issue. It's a little odd the beetle uses about a half quart every 10,000 and the Jetta uses none.:rolleyes:

There was a guy on Craigslist located in Westfield (I think) who had quite a fiew TDI's for sale. Almost all of the cars that I rember listed had issues eather torn up, flooded, or blown motors .I wonder if we are thinking of the same guy?

Yep that's what I'm trying to solve. The Beetle at 70mph seems to run 5000-6000 rpm higher then the Jetta at the same speed. My feeling is the beetle must just be pushing a little more air. Or perhaps it's all the crap my wife is lugging around :)
