There are many turbos you can run, but only a few that require little to no modifications! I have heard many people like the vnt conversion on our ahu motors to a vnt17 or vnt17/22.

In essence, a 300hp tdi is not impossible, but you will spend a significant amount of money trying to get to that #. If it were my personal vehicle, i would make sure its caught up on all maintenance (timing belt, oil, water pump, suspension bushings, etc) and then would get an upgraded clutch...

Todd, The fluid was a little low in the reservoir so when all air was out of the system, i did need to add more.

Id also imagine a flexible kermatdi style oil line would be useful as well as the correct fitting for it. Also not sure in the differences on the downpipe, so that might be needed as well. Why did you decide on a Gt17 if I might ask?
