    Front/Rear Tire pressure question

Well if the width is the same, and the tire is only about 6 pounds heavier...how many mpg will I lose? The guy I called about the new rims said there was that 6 pound diffference.

    Front/Rear Tire pressure question

Fair enough. What % fuel economy do you lose by going from a 16" rim to an 18" rim?

    Front/Rear Tire pressure question

I thought changing actual tire size affected fuel mileage, not the actual rim. At least as long as the entire diameter of the tire stays the same.

    Front/Rear Tire pressure question

Then the question that comes to mind, is why are all these other people with FWD posting about equal tire pressures on all 4 tires? I guess I was just looking for some direct answers to the questions I had instead of piecing together a bunch of other posts that never completely address my...

Anyone know if I'd be able to throw in some type of Bose sound system into my 06 Jetta TDI. And where would I be able to get this done?

Newbies and Vets: Tips for better fuel economy!

Using Neutral I drive an 06 Jetta TDI. I was just curious if throwing the car in neutral on straightaways with a slight decline, and hilly areas is worth the gas mileage I save. Obviously when I need to use the gas again I put the transmission back in drive and slightly ease back on the gas.
