The approval date means nothing my documents were approved on nov14th which took me to step 15. Then my documents were approved by the 3rd party auditor on Nov 22.l and I still do t have an offer
Just talked to a claims person on the hotline and was told that because of the number of people that "Volkswagen has changed their 10 day policy" I told him it was a court ordered deadline and that VW cant just change it. He said that they are because "there are millions of people processing...

I'm on the exact same timeline. Just called my bank and they said it doesn't look like anyone has requested a payoff but that only means it hasn't been documented. They could have actually gotten it and the people just didn't make a note.
has anyone been offer letters in the afternoon, evening? I didn't know if they just come in the morning or if I should continue to watch my email all day. I just spoke with customer service and they said I have made it through the auditor and am just waiting on my letter to be sent out

With reading some of the delays with people getting their EFT money I am thinking about choosing the check option. Anyone else done this and seen any kind of delays or drawbacks to it?
If they would send my offer to me I would turn it in today and give these buyback specialists something to do. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of them not giving us the items to complete the turn in timely.
It said the car just needs to be driven on the lot to be eligible for turn in. Did the buyback specialist start your car again after arriving? I ask because I fried my battery jumping a UTV and it runs as long as I put the charger on it before I drive. I don't want to spend another penny on this...
Same as how it's done in the military. Government messes up and owes me money, it takes months. Government messes up and I owe them money, my next paycheck is cut in half
They need to stop hiring call center people as we all know they offer no help anyway and hire more buyback specialists so we can have more than one day and four appointments on each day for our turn-in options.
