Personally I'd drive it a little bit, make sure all works right, and there are no issues to go back to the dealer for, out the gate. Just to keep hassle to a minimum.

They are on both sides on the mk7 - one passenger, one driver. Driver is high tone, passenger is low tone. After having the frontend repaired from Raccoon incident, body-shop forgot to plug the passenger(low) back in properly, car sounded quit off.

Fully aware that it can be disabled, but I'm not talking about being unable to disable, i'm talking about the fact that instead of a pleasant and subtle audible notification, they are using the full blown horns for the lock/unlock notification. Very loud at 3am.
