I own 2 2012 Jett'as TDi. I bought the premium model 6 speed manual. My wife had to get the Premium automatic model. I bought them brand new and now they both have over 40k miles on them. Still very happy with them no serious issue to report.

I just bought 2 more gallons today. I have been using XPD on every fill up on both of the 2012 Jetta's I own since they only had 1000 miles on them. They now have 40000 miles on them and still going strong.

I will check my bottles and see if I see anything on my XPD ordered.

I think you can still unlock the trunk with the electronic handle.

I had that same issues on my car and it was the clutch. I don't know if you drive a standard or not. They had the replace the clutch on my car because they didn't align it correctly at the factory.
