    Theoretical 100+ MPG?

I´ve heard very little about one big problem that comes into the equation. BSFC is very romantic ideal concept and it´s achieved under steady state conditions. How the turbo works is another issue, particularly when more power is requested. The ECU increases the fuel rate until a given engine...

    Theoretical 100+ MPG?

NO, u ll face divorce or worse if you do it. driving slowly or P&G are extremely annoying for on board mates... any kind (even me). Messing with fuel economy is a drive alone thing. I can't imagine repeating that cycle every 6s for a whole tank. 30s to 3+min glides are OK. That is too...

    coast or not?

Actually if revs go above 2000 rpm when in gear u´ll use some fuel, scangeuge shows 0.1 - 0.3 L per 100 Km.

    Would I get better mileage with stock 15" wheels/tires than 16" wheels/tires?

welll actually it is a smaller tire, check it here http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html 195 65 R15 is 78.5in vs 205 55 R16 is 78.2in, difference is neglible... about 4 revs per mile. I´ve been driving with 205 55 R16 for almost 100K miles and FE is very good. I´ve n´t tried...

What can I expect with a Rocketchip???

Almost a year has gone since I chipped my A4 and I can tell you, it´s very difficult to control the go pedal. Almost all the time I found myself accelerating faster than I would wish, according to to the SGII numbers. Before chipping I got several 1100+ mile tanks. Now, I´m not willing to do it...
