A dealer 200 miles away from my house is offering book value trade in on the TDI's and willing to do true car price match. I may use the $1500 loyalty bonus + this $1000 on purchasing a new GTI. But something tells me to wait because we may receive more gifts next year according to a different...
I have 21,XXX miles on mine and this happen after I rotated my tires today. I had gotten a flat on the sidewall on my rear tire about a month ago so I replaced it with a new one and I believe this is happening due to 1 tire having less wear then the other. I may swap the tire around again with a...
I just replaced mine in less then 10 minutes. I didn't use the software to prime it, but I did fill the corners of the filter with fuel and a little fuel additive. It started right up and I gave it a little throttle to clear the air bubbles and everything is fine.

They changed it up a little to prevent running the system dry. I usually drive the tach reads the empty white line and 0 miles for quite a while. I'm just a risk taker.
Reading up on all the class action settlements people had with other companies this is actually something major since EPA got involved including massive cars world wide. I'm hoping the best they can do is offer a buy back program for the cars, but then again if they were to do that what would...
