Yeah it shifts like that because of a combination of the tune and staying on the right pedal longer than I should. I think I need to use my Frost Heater still even though the temps aren't getting super cold at night.

the EGR was not disabled. I talked to Anutee about that at the time of the tune. it gets better mileage after the tune than before. I've been waiting for a reason to do a nice hwy trip, just haven't had one yet. Once I do I'll post up here. I'll call Anutee also and see what the torsion value is.

I was getting up to speed as quickly as possible before and it yielded me 22.8 mpg so I stopped. It wasn't like I would floor it either, just take off at faster pace than normal, slightly ahead of the rest of traffic.

I do romp on it once or twice a tank to make sure the vanes do not get stuck. I had that problem with my '03 Jetta Wagon that got totaled.

I have an 05 wagon as well, I wish I was getting the same mileages you. Best I've seen so far was 27.1 mpg & that was after the kerma Tune. Before the tune I was getting 21-23 mpg. Only 100,768 miles on this car too.

On tirerack.com it suggest some 19x8 and 19x8.5 wheels. for the 19x8 the suggested tire size is a 235-35/19. I was thinking about going to discount tire and trying some 19x8 et41 wheels with those tires and see how it works out.
