Lately I have noticed as I'm accelerating around 20 - 30 MPH, the DSG will shift real hard. It is very intermittent and doesn't do it all the time. It has close to 50,000 miles. Anyone notice this behavior? Thanks

What would cause it to need recalibration? Does something wear out or does this just happen from time to time?

It has almost 50,000 miles and I don't think it is torque steer as I feel it even while coasting downhill in gear. It almost feels like you hit a small patch of ice.

Guys, Recently I've noticed as I'm driving I will feel a bit of slip in the steering. Like the steering wheel will suddenly jerk to one side about an inch all by itself. I know it's not my imagination. Any ideas? Thanks Nate

I think you have to be fair. Items 1 and 2 are not the fault of the car and 3 is not a big deal. And are you sure it's a "she"?

I need some assistance please. I was goofing off with the MFD and switched the language to Chinese. As it is now in Chinese, and I do not read Chinese, I am unable to switch it back to English. I do know some Chinese people but they don't speak Chinese. Do I need to drive to Chinatown in NY...

I also have the same problem. After rotating the tires at the 20k service, I noticed the same type of noise which is due to the tires, Continentals, being cupped.

I raised it because I thought it was a defect that would be remedied under warranty. I think I will push the dealer to check the car's alignment. Not much else I can do. Thanks guys.

I am the one who pointed it out to them. The grove was about 1 - 2 mm deep and about 3 mm wide.

I had the car serviced at 10K, 20K and 30K and they always rotated the tires. Not sure what else I could have done. The low pressure light did come on for a while before I put more air in but they were not low by more than 2 - 3 lbs I'm starting to think perhaps the car is out of alignment.
