Thanks for the help. The shop that installed the pump will replace the seals in it next week when their supplier is open. so just old seals and no pressure problem I have to worry about?

I replaced my 2003 5spd jetta pump about three weeks ago with a pump from an automatic 11mil pump. Now this pump is leaking from the same rear seal. What would cause the pump to leak? Too much pressure? It was a used pump that was installed. Thanks

Thank you I had the same problem checked the wire harness and it had corrosion,sprayed it with electrical cleaner and the window is working again. Thanks

I just picked up a 2004 Wagon rust in the usual spots. I called VW Canada on December 31 to start a claim they told me that the warranty expired December 29 2015. I spoke with a Supervisor no luck. Is there anyone else I should talk to?

Thanks everyone. All the hose connection were bad and the turbo was gone. Have the car at BuzzKen being fixed.

I just got a 2004 TDI wagon when I tried to set up an appointment. They told me that the car was out of warranty it expired Dec 29 2015 I called them on the 31 of dec. They would extend the warranty.

@ steve6 I have checked that hose and there is a lot on play with that hose I can almost pull it off. If the turbo was gone wouldn't there be black smoke coming from the exhaust?

Will put it up on stands tomorrow and have a look.

Which hose ? on top off the engine or from under the car? I just got the car today. I had it towed to my house from the seller mechanics shop Thanks
