Thanks for the replies! I actually purchased a 1752 from xman yesterday. I had the hardest time ever deciding, I knew the 1752 was the right answer but the 1856 was ohh so tempting.
I need to buy a turbo very soon to complete my 2003 Golf alh tdi project car. I know there are better options out there like the GTB turbos but they are not plug and play and are kinda out of my budget.
