Delete the EGR/DPF. And with a tune it turns it all off. I did it on the garage floor. Sucks, it can be difficult. Basically just swapping exhaust but in a very tight area, that's a very basic overview
Mine used to blow the hose off. It just got old. I found a gates coolant hose with the same curve and I cut it to fit and swapped to t bolts. Solved that issue. As to oil being in the cooler mine has oil in it too. How much oil are you loosing? Any spots on the ground?
Delete it. Run whatever oil you want, run what ever coolant you want. Keep up on oil changes, and timing belts upgrade the turbo if you can and tune it. Then beat the hell out of it. I haven't used VW specific coolant or oil since they day I bought mine
I don't have OBD11 or VCDS. Only use torque to see Charge air temp. With my cooler clogged it was near 200° on the highway. I'd agree I'm sure at times it is 100%. I did in fact throw a P023a for open pump since that wire is cut so If i keep it this way I'm going to put a resistor on it to kill...
Been having a P026A for intercooler build up after a few flushes found it's leaking coolant internally. Bought a used one off LKQ just installed it and I never liked the fact the intercooler pump is variable. I know I'm just a guy and not a VW engineer. But I want my IATs the best they can be...
No wasent going to spend the money on a alignment at the moment when it can see it has negative camber still with it fully adjusted out. I plan on getting one once i change the bushings/arms.
I see no visual damage, I've owned the car about 6 years now and it just recently started getting worse over time. That's what i replaced shocks/springs. No readings but with camber fully adjust you can tell with eye and tire wear it still has negative camber. I'm just going to go ahead and...
As the title mentions having issues with rear negative camber that is eating inner tires. Now i have replaces springs and shocks and full adjusted the camber all the way out and it still is not enough to overcome the negative camber. Im close to pulling all suspension compents off to see if i...
Need to make sure the cam cradle isn't leaking. Mine leaked on the back side and the dealer said it was a valve cover as well. I had to remove mine and re RTV it. So the valve cover doesn't sit directly on the head it seals to the cam cradle then the cradle is sealed withrtv and bolted to the head
