Seacoasttdi, i didn't like the headlight either so I just changed the bulbs. I went from OEM to PIAA extreme white or pure white, I don't remember exactly, but it made a HUGE difference. Then, I changed the voltage but didn't see any benefits so I left it to factory voltage.

Its not doing that on mine. Maybe a bad ground or bad connection?

The answer is no. If you refer to the coolant temp needle in your dash, than no. When the needle is at the rest position it means that the temp of your coolant is at 50-55 Celsius or below. If its -10C outside and you plug your car, maybe the coolant will be at 10 or 20C (I don't know) but...

You can change the time it stays on with VCDS. I set mine to stay on 20 minutes instead of 10 due to the fact that I live in a region where there's a lot of snow and ice and 10 minutes is not enough to get the window completely defrosted.

I can put my laptop, my iphone, my samsung galaxy on my 2013 and no warning light. BUT If I plug the laptop or whatever, I've got the warning light! So its interference between the charging cords or current flow and the seat weight sensor.
