Too much fluid?
I did my dsg service over the weekend. I followed all procedures but now while driving I can smell the fluid. Did I not get enough fluid out? If too much what happens to it?
Sorry to hear your troubles RV9Factory! I too am having ac troubles! so I figured I would piggy back off yours! I have fixed my small fan and confirmed its working, I also replaced the High/Low Pressure switch while I had the fan assembly out. Now I put it all together to test it out and now...
Sounds like Nord is probably right, but I had a noise kinda like that and it turned out to be the radiator fan slightly rubbing the AC connection line.
It may be the pressure switch. My 06 had this problem. Does it work at all? Mine would work after putting it on auto at first, then when it started cooling I could put on whatever setting I liked. Where in Knoxville did you take it?
The manufacturers oil change interval is 10000 mi. IMO I think that it shouldn't be more than 5000- 7000 mi. VAG is in the business of selling cars not maintenance parts. Bottom line is if you pay attention to your car and service it at least to manufacturer standards then it should last a long...
a DMF sounds something like a couple gravel rattling around in your trans. I didn't hear it until I got the car up on the ramps. Sorry it has taken so long to reply back had a family emergency in TN that I had to be away for awhile.
I am screwed. I just did the oil change and while pulling the car up on the ramps, I heard the dreaded sound of my DMF going bad. It sounded like something might be rattling around. Can any one change one of these or do I need to go to the dealership?
I know I read an article that VWOA wants to be the number one auto seller in NA. I think bringing this to NA markets could help them accomplish that goal. I would buy one in a second. I was ready to buy the light truck diesel offerings the big three were suppose to have this year before it...
this site has been great! I just bought a tdi a few months back. Have a question about the DMF. I have the DSG in an 06 jetta BRM. my car almost feels like it is a manual shift sometime. it doesn't slip under acceleration, or even putting it in gear and pulling it out.
