Sorry to hear. It deserves a rant. Seems like you're patient and reasonable (probably more than most of us). Ask them for a similar car w/rack. I'm still waiting, although I have a MT. Hope your situation improves.

Maybe this thread will be put to bed on Dec.1. But I doubt it.

Just purchased 4 new tires (3 + 1 for $1) at dealer. My car only has 39,000 miles, so these go in the garage for now.

Buyback sounds ok for me, about $28,000 after milage deduction. No mention of 2016's TDI being sold. I'd consider buyback/purchase of 2016/17 TDI.

I'm the original owner. No fogs or xenon lamps I changed switch position w/car in garage. High and lo beams, no difference that I could see. So perhaps a disabled item. Thanks for comments, I'll post back if I discover its function.

@Gavin No fogs @Funguy I thought this as well, makes no difference. My lights turn off after 30 sec. @redbarron55 and @Henrick This was actually suggested at VW dealer. Vehicle was inside, lights aimed at wall. It didn't appear to change anything noticeably. Wife has car I'll check tonight...
