What did you do to your MKIV today?

I've installed a few bearings over the years, and a slow and steady heat source over longer time always made it easier. At first I tried to just slide it in on but that didn't work...

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Get a 60 watt lightbulb, set new bearing on bulb when you start, in 30 mins it should be good to go. Do keep checking temps, I have to google what temp is acceptable

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Hint, torque the bolt to the torque spec, then mark 90* starting and set points with a paint marker, and use a 1/2 inch impact. Some ugga dugga dugga and you're set.

Is the A3 same as the mk4?

I was driving around today and saw a nice Audi, which made me wonder if the a3 is more like the MK3, MK4 or did it go right to the MK5 platform? It or are there years that perhaps overlap?

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Did the GPS check. Indeed there is a 5.9% more travelled than odometer indicates. New proper odometer to liter nets 5.9L/100 km average. Used to be 5.3but I think I travelled slower when I though I was speeding My new PD fuel pump. Gets worse longer car runs https://youtube.com/shorts/NCW9PpmBQ_s

What did you do to your MKIV today?

I went to 215 55 17 to get it accurate. At 120km I go 1 faster on GPS. It was a toss-up between 205/60 or 17 for that but ultimately I wanted more tread with.

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Yes but I get hand calculated 43 mpg is or 6 years straight. The car was also going 6% less than indicated, so 6% less miles traveled maybe more with worn tires. Now with the the proper tires brand new the speedo is accurate and the mpg is down to 38.5

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Well that's just disappointing. Anyone in SW Ontario have a crappy headlight from a beetle I can cut up and see? I threw the old ones out as soon as the new ones showed up, I didn't realise I needed them

What did you do to your MKIV today?

Tried adjusting my headlights. TYC brand from rock auto. Probably broke all adjustments, the left points too left and have high, the right points too low and to the right, I have this cone of darkness ahead of me. I may have to get some plastic weld and crack open the housings
