2002 Jetta GLS 2.0 automatic was hesitant when giving it gas so I filled it with transmission fluid unfortunately 2 days later on my way to work it started leaking everywhere and then whistling/whining and basically wasnt trying to go fast at all. Got it home from AAA... THANK GOD FOR THEM today...
That was my original thought because if they weren't there to begin with then how could it have shorted the pedal out...They have been missing for a while now. Been driving the car with no issues & no o2 sensors. I have READ extensively though that the O2 sensors trigger a whole bunch of issues...
Yes just went out this morning bought 2 original O2 sensors, waiting on a new/used ECU this week by Thursday they said...I am also for argument sake am going to buy a new/used accelerator pedal "just in case" the old one went on my car in all this...I PM'd you for other info, I also am working...
I did read the ross-tech site thoroughly. Your link does suggest that the pedal could be one of the 3 issues with my car & since the pedal was the first initial problem in my journey it would be crazy not to think that the pedal got messed up because of my sensor issues etc... Don't you agree...
I have posted in many other parts of the forums for answers and definitely have gotten help and some a***** but still nothing really solid hoping someone can help...If you have had any of these codes and have had a fix please let me know...Im haven't driven my car in a month. I have a 2003 Jetta...
I have a 2003 Jetta gl 2.0 manual -It takes gas yes Sorry I thought I said something earlier. WOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHH You just blew my whole train of thought....I was told with a VAGtacho I can get the SKC's that I need to then with a VAG-COM I can do the adaptation I need in order to fix the IMMO 3...
original problem
Ok so to explain in more detail...The original problem was the car just shut down slowly while on the highway and then the accelerator pedal wouldn't work, the EPC light came on as well. I had it towed home for 250.00 last month. I was told I needed to get the VAG-com to scan...
Thanks for your help! Much appreciated! Yeah I had posted b4 reading further & I saw it didn't work...jumped the gun on asking. I know everyone here says these cheap cables are not
the way to go but I assume the actual VAG-tacho cable is a pretty penny which I can't do at this point (3 ECU's...
I just bought a used ECU now I need the Tacho to do the Immo 3 key problem Im having plus the immo blocked by the ECU Im having could I borrow it? I live in MA...Let me know I have to get this done a.s.a.p. am trust worthy and will return it within a 2 week time period!
THANKS for any help!
Replaced the ECU now it stalls
Thanks I have tried that the auto scan gives me about 5 faults 2 being the engine immobilizer & the data train keep coming back even with a clearing of them. The glow light on the dash (car w/key) is flashing and it starts and stalls out after 3 secs. I have...
IM IN HELL HELP! I have no acceleration pedal and I changed the pedal and the throttle body and still no reponse ANY HELP! I have a 2003 Jetta GL 2.0 standard
Yes its a gas engine 2003 Jetta GL 2.0 standard. I have done the DIY manual steps (didn't work) I was told without the reprogramming with a VAG-COM the pedal will not communicate with the throttle body to make it accelerate. I am getting codes P2138 & P2128 and have done everything except to use...
