This is a dangerous vacuum hose failure that happend without any warning. First indication of trouble was no power-then no vacuum assist brakes resulting in little or no braking ability. Lucky I wasn\'t pulling up to a stop light.

Took it in to the dealer and he said error 1 for the cd player is caused by an internal failure and the unit needs replacing. I tried a celaning disk and it didn't help. good thing its under warrenty. jeff

My cd player(standard unit) on my 03 golf started ejecting cd with an error 1. It does it on all cd's. any ideas? thanks jeff
