    Alternator question...

13.8vdc +/- .2vdc is a typical charge voltage. With a 25A load it should be well above the 12.24vdc that was measured. Your alternator with a 25A load should be able to maintain >13.5 vdc with no problems, sounds like she's getting ready to go, assuming no bad connections...

Pro's and con's of purchasing a TDI jetta

mine too, but a 5 mph difference is not going to help you pass someone unless you have a good distance to do so and/or you have all day to do it. you need a good 15-20mph quick increase to pass in my opinion. I am not complaining as i have learned the new driving style. I don't think anyone...

    Help: Sudden Overheating

You can get the new pump from here, its not plastic. http://www.dieselgeek.com/Detail.bok?no=337 although, i think you would be foolish not to do the T.B. while your right there, you need to take the timing belt off anyway to change the water pump. just get it all out of the way at once...
