I've been trying to get in touch with him too. I need another clutch & wanted to go through him again. Does anyone know the part numbers for the clutches he uses in case he doesn't respond?
I drive from Sissonville to Kanawha City with the cruise usually set at 80 on I-77 and then at 70 once I hit Charleston when the speed limit drops. My only mod is a Colt Cam & I'd imagine that I get at least 42 on the drive.
Depending on where you're going through town, I could believe high...
Mine is doing same thing. Same side too. It started several thousand miles after essentially rebuilding the front suspension. I was really OCD with getting everything torqued just right, so I may be searching for a while. I'd be really happy to find out it's the sway bar needing a little...
I have a set that I absolutely can't remember the name of, but they're German made. They're molded, but not quite as exact fit as Weathertech's mats. They also make a tub style rear mat that you could almost take a bath in!
Good job!! I'm in the middle of rounding up all the parts needed for the 5 speed since I can't source a local wrecked donor. Thanks for posting up the pics & sharing the experience. I think I'll echo your willingness to be paid to do it after I finish mine too! Definitely something that needs to...
Mine has turned into a bit of a money pit & I wouldn't give it up for anything! I paid a little more than what I really should've, but it's black on black, which is what I was looking for. Did the BSM & now I'm getting all the parts together for a trans swap to a proper trans. I have an '03...
Sounds like a good idea! I know here on I-79 when the fog is thick, it's THICK! There have been numerous wrecks where a rear fog would've helped & an even brighter LED could only increase the distance that someone could see you. I'd be all over a solution like that.
I can tell you for sure that the cluster light doesn't come on. One caveat; I don't have my rear fogs hooked up yet. It may light up with the fogs connected, but I doubt it. After looking through the links though, I'll probably hook everything up once I get the car back on the road.

There ya go. That oughtta get you where you need to be!
I'm thinking that's the case, but I don't know which pin from the switch to which pin on which connector for the cluster. I think I knew at some point for the A4 what needed to be done, but I'm not sure I've ever seen the write up for the B5.
It couldn't & shouldn't be too complicated.

That should help with the rear fog, but I'm not too sure about the cluster lighting up on its own. I think it has to be wired up.
Excellent! That makes life a little easier. I was hoping you were only talking about the axles. I was really hoping to re-use my RAxles, but I'm sure I can work out something with Marty or sell them here. Pretty sure I sourced an '01 shift box.
So, the 98-99 shifters are basically the same as...
I may have to give it a shot whenever I get mine back on the road. Luckily, I hadn't had a code the whole week it was back on the road before the trans decided one gear was all I deserved. Too bad Easy Off won't fix that!
I'll PM you my info if you wanna get together some time & dig deeper into it. I haven't dug too deep into mine yet, but sometimes another set of eyes & ears can help.
I replaced mine with new W8 HID's. Not because
there was anything wrong with them. They were
pretty good, but I wanted HID's.
I don't recall any gaps once I had them set, but
HID's do have a different pattern to them, so it's
possible they just need a little more adjustment.
