Also these numbers are based off of my daily commute and generally running around daily life, not interstate long distance cruising.
I have however gotten over 800miles on a tank when I drove from home (Wisconsin) to Columbus OH.
my 03 gets 650-675 miles to a tank in the winter with ease and up to 730 to a tank in the summer. See my sig for mods.
I just bought a 06 Jetta sedan last week and so far its 100% stock and its been averaging 45.6-46.7 mpg according to the MFD.
My 06 Jetta has a metal box under the drivers seat, but there is nothing hooked up to it. Has a few open socket where it appears stuff should be hooked up but there isn't anything.
I had/have a draw tite hitch on my mk4 and it only scrapes when backing out of my buddies drive way. Is the mk5 that much lower than its older brother?
