Bought a Q7 TDI (2010) yesterday. Love it. Averaged ~31mpg driving it home. Now to see what maintenance I need to do and what to mod…

I didn’t want it to go to some kid that puts $200 coilovers on it, and a 100 shot of nitrous, and it’s destroyed by years end.

Roughly maybe: 40% city, 55% 45mph with a possible stop (red light/stop sign) every 3-8min, 5% 70mph highway And a light foot

Don’t doubt you, but why wouldn’t you want to daily it? Are there some cost prohibitive or obsolete parts?

Looking at buying a friends 90 n/a diesel. What should I look out for? Any known modifications to increase mpg? Thank you.

Are the Alu plugs in the rocker arms part of the kits I saw that come with the cam? I was thinking of the Colt Stg 2 from Kerma when the time comes.
