Another TDI to GTI buyback'r here.
The TDI was a 2011 Golf 6MT w/60K on the clock - pretty much swapped it for a CPO 2015 GTI SE 2-door w/26K on the clock. Just $400 out of pocket OTD. Good deal. Very much dig the GTI, my god the handling... just gonna take a while to get used to the...
And lo, the days of the Golf are numbered... After keeping a keen eye on prices and lying in wait for months, yesterday I put a deposit down on a CPO 2015 GTI MT SE 2-door that OTD will only be $400 out of pocket. Mission accomplished.

We just had the fix done on our 14 JSW with just over 20K on the clock. It's the Mrs. daily driver.
While being serviced, she was loaned an Alltrack which, suspension (softness) aside, did not impress in any department. It reinforced that we're doing the right thing getting the fix on this...

We are considering the following options to replace our '11 Golf 4D MT for which we're getting 20,500 in buyback, car is paid for so all considered vehicles need to be under that since we don't want another car payment and hope to avoid other out of pocket expenses.
As such will be watching...
We have 2 eligible TDIs in our family and decided today to go ahead and register for the buyback of our 2011 Golf 4D MT w/sunroof simply because the cars trade/sale value took a "hit" when we got rear ended 2 summers ago.
So we'll have $20,566.73 (car is paid for) towards it's replacement...
