Its great being so close to the ocean not to mention being back in civilization (as we call it) moving from South Dakota. Although part of me does miss how quiet it was out there, but it is great to be back close to where I grew up. Not to mention a lot closer to trusted TDI mechanics.

Starting last week my 02 Golf TDI automatic transmission with almost 130,000 started to do something similar. Mine seems to be more consistent at failing. When shifting from 3rd to 4th it slows down and eventually shifts in about 2-3 seconds.
I have had 02 Golf TDI for 7 years now, but I've had my Ford Model T for 10 years. I still drive the Golf daily with over 100,000 on it and of coarse my Model T sits at home most the time garaged.
