The only thing I would add is pop the hood an check if any mice have set up house under your hood. They seem to like the air intake/air filter for some reason. There is also plenty of wiring for the little buggers to chew on.

I moved closer to work and I ride my bike to work just about every day. About a mile to work (good exercise). I still love my car though. All you need to do is put an aquarium valve or a small filter inline to your boost gauge and it should clear up your rattle. It did on mine.
