    Was able to get everything fixed - thanks to all for helping! A huge thanks to Jetta97 for the virgin EEPROM file specific to my cluster as that saved me! Here were the steps I had to do to get it working: 1. Use VAG TACHO to send the virgin EEPROM file Now my cluster was operating correctly...

    Correct - I did not make a backup as I didn't intend on changing anything - just wanted to add 2 new keys to the immobilizer. Can I use VAG TACHO to write a new EEPROM file or do I need to step up to VAG-COM for that?
