Just read the instructions carefully, like someone has already said if it's not too close to the sidewall, you should be good to go. My dad back in the day always patched our tires as did many folks.
Does anyone know if Opti or one of their competitors has a comparison chart comparing their additive to Opti-Lube's or vice versa? I would think as they grow (if they are growing) they would be more competitive in their marketing. Something like that may help justify the higher price Just...
To me, it could be a blessing it happened so low mileage. I had a similar issue with mine ling ago very new still. After a couple of odd issues early on, the dealer took care of them, they were still under warranty and the car ran perfect after that for years!!! I was concerned when it happened...
It can't hurt to email them - however from my experience they rarely send the comments along to the proper channels. They end up picked over by a few folks before they make it to engineering, etc.
As the speeds rise here and as my age continues to rise, I found myself drifting closer to being in the right lane permanently. I am still driving 60-65 on these higher limit highways. The car just rides differently to me as I push it over 65 as it ages.
Do they have plans for any additional testing on their own? Newer company, seems like they would have to continue testing for some time to gain a stronger hold on the additive market. Nice to see some test results though now.
I agree all cars are disposable. Maybe they see the Porsche the same way. However not me, in the winter I would certainly prefer to drive something less costly!
I had the same issue on an older car I owned, the tint on the back completely ruined my reception. I never fixed it, the car was not worth enough to.
It will cause the AM to have poor reception. My FM was terrible as well.
