It appears that the RCV valve you replaced on the car that has the AC working intermittently is defective. The symptoms you described are typical for a defective RCV valve that works only intermittently.

I have VCDS, and I've always done the maintenance on time. Thank you for the advice.

I agree. I did some more research online, turns out if there is any air in the brake cylinder the brake pedal would feel loose, not hard like in my case. I'll recheck the vacuum lines.

I agree, that's what I installed in my 06, a RCD330. It looks OEM.
