Was TVS Engineering who you finally decided to go with? If so do you have their DSG and Engine tune? If so how do you like their tunes?

Would that be a good place to start; monitoring the alternator load with vcds to try and determine what is going on? If so what measuring block should I watch?

I should confirm with VCDS but I say fully warm due to it happening to me the other day while it was running for a good 30-45 minutes running errands around town and the ambient temp was 70-75 out.

2013 JSW w/DSG as well and I've noticed the same phenomenon too.

Had a check engine light come on immediately upon start up over the weekend. Turned out to be Cyl. 1's Glow Plug. Changed it out, cleared the code with VAGCOM and all good again.
