When the shop replaced the metering valve they mentioned the plug was bad and they couldnt find a replacement plug end with at least 6" of wire on to splice in. Would you or anyone here know of a good source to get one with so they can splice it in.

I should confirm with VCDS but I say fully warm due to it happening to me the other day while it was running for a good 30-45 minutes running errands around town and the ambient temp was 70-75 out.

Had a check engine light come on immediately upon start up over the weekend. Turned out to be Cyl. 1's Glow Plug.
Changed it out, cleared the code with VAGCOM and all good again.
Received the replacement metering valve from Amazon today. Changed it in 5 minutes. Fired it up and the Check Engine Light immediately turn off!

Had a check engine light pop on this morning for a fuel metering valve issue on my CP3 pump.
Upon closer inspection it appears the sensor has a crack near where the plug meets the main body of the metering valve.
I have a replacment metering valve on its way. Fingers crossed changing it solves...
