I flew and drove mine 2k miles back and she purred the whole way. I may have over paid a bit but it is completely stock, has zero rust or body damage, low miles and I really wanted it. =) I love these things.

Anyone know of a good transporter? I would grab them just to save em.

200k isn’t really high for a TDI.

I have a mk4 TDI that I would like to replace the Canadian cluster (trip switch broke) with a U.S. miles version cluster. Is there anyone in the area with a vagcom I could use to change the country code? Obviously I am willing to come to you. =) Thank you in advance!

Yep a mil base junkyard (in Germany). There were 2 mk4 boras and 2 golfs.

Picked up a couple euro light switched for $8. =) Any other parts worth grabbing? Sadly there is a blue golf tdi wagon (shell left only) they are about to crush. 😭

a good quality aluminum skidplate to replace the discontinued “full metal jacket” would be a welcome addition. 👍

Hahaa you're not wrong! =) The stock seats are actually very nice, I guess they are part of the Sport package, whatever that means. Lol
